Fabulous experiences! I’ve been on about half a dozen of Mara’s knitting cruises and have a couple more booked. Mara plans every detail and makes sure not only the knitters but their travel companions (my husband generally travels with me) have just as good a time as well. Teachers, classes, and yarn stores are amazing; projects are well thought out and balanced to accommodate all levels of knitters. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, both to returning travelers and new ones. Best of all are the friendships that have developed. Mara with Dream Vacations is fabulous to work with on all your travel needs. Whether it is a small family event or large group gatherings she can set it all up for you or your business. We host two Knitting Cruises a year and Mara takes the stress out of scheduling trips and events. We have taken a group to Ireland and Mara set up all the travel and even knitting workshops to do along the way. Mara even helped with our travel plans when our daughter got married at Beaches. Mara with Dream Vacations has been taking care of my cruise vacations for at least 20 years. She takes care of every detail to where I never worry. If I call with a question or a change, her answer is always, ‘I’ll take care of it’ - ‘consider it done’. Or at the very least . . .’ I must check into it and will get right back to you.’ I always get a call, an email or even a text, right away. I’m not sitting and waiting day after day for a response. That’s very important to me. I don’t have to worry.

This is a company that works hard to know her customers well. And she does because we keep coming back to her decade after decade.

We started booking knitting cruises about 10 years ago with Mara/Dream Vacations - Mara Time Knitting Cruises division. She is invaluable!! We feel so responsible for the number of people in our group that we book for a knitting cruise. The pressure and worry are not there because of the ease and care that Mara has in taking care of our ‘people’ and negotiating all our needs. We so appreciate all the extra little things she does for us - and the big ones!
